There so many emotions that I tie to John and Rachel's wedding. There were happy moments, emotional moments, bittersweet moments and funny moments. But what I will always remember is friendships. First with John since I ment him when photographing his brother Lonnie's wedding to Camille who was one of Rachel's Matron's of Honor. I feel like John and I clicked the moment we met like old friends. He was that guy that always had a smile on his face. When I saw him with Rachel for the first time, that smile was bigger. When he popped the question about a year later, I wondered what took so long!! I met Rachel's sister Rebekah earlier this year for her wedding that Johnny photographed. She was the other Matron of Honor. Their minister/bridesmaid Stephanie married Kevin, groomsman, in 2011 and I was there for that one as well. All friends. Friends of each other and friends of mine. And though I didn't get to spend much time with them, Katie and Eric as well as Brent and Courtney who were both married in the last couple years. FIVE people in the wedding party not counting John and Rachel were friends we've photographed before and for more guests. I can't tell you how special that feels to be part of. I felt so much love being part of it as I'm sure everyone else did as well. Because that's just how John and Rachel are. I could say more about their day, but I think that really says all that matters.
